The Embodied-Anatomy Workshop
The first in a series of Choi TKD Seminars was a great success! On Saturday and Sunday, October 17th and 18th, a dozen people gathered at the Cicero Avenue School to participate in a workshop conducted by Sa Bum Nim Julio Diaz – the Embodied-Anatomy Approach to Martial Arts.
The participants (3 women and 9 men) in the weekend workshop had varied backgrounds and experience (e.g. TKD, Yoga), and were young and old (ages ranged from 17 to 72).
The workshop focused on awareness of and alignment through the skeletal system, to find effortless inner movement.
If you were unable to attend this workshop, but have an interest in Embodied-Anatomy, you will be pleased to know that we have invited SBN Diaz to return and teach a follow-up workshop in late spring, 2010.
