SBN Ron has organized the Beach Training again this year.
Below are the particulars:
What: Beach Training
When: 7:00 AM, Thursday (Thanksgiving) morning
Where: North end of Oak Street Beach, where the sand begins
Who: You!
Why: If you have to ask, you probably shouldn't come!
Other important information -
East Division St. ends at Lake Shore Drive and at that corner there is an underpass to go to the beach. We park several blocks west of there on Division; usually Thanksgiving is a free-parking holiday...check this for yourself.
Wear loose multi-layered clothing, not a uniform unless it's an old one, and old shoes. Sand gets everywhere. If it's a rainy, cold, windy day...conditions could be dangerous. We generally WILL go into the water none-the-less. Bring a towel.
