Choi TKD announces the grand opening of its 3700 N. Cicero Avenue (Chicago, IL) School. Please join the Choi TKD family in celebrating the new school opening by participating in a weekend of inaugural events.
- Friday, October 16th – Black Belt Class and Promotion Test, followed by the new school dedication
- Saturday, October 17th – Day 1 (9:00 AM – Noon) of the Embodied-Anatomy Workshop (first of a series of Choi TKD Weekend Seminars)
- Sunday, October 18th – Day 2 (9:00 AM – Noon) of the Embodied-Anatomy Workshop

Promotion Test & Demonstration October 16, 2009
There will be a promotion test and demonstration at the new Cicero Avenue School on October 16th. Activities begin with a brief Black Belt Class at 6:00 PM., followed immediately by the promotion test and demonstrations. The evening’s activities will be capped-off with a dedication to the new school by Master Choi, and will include refreshments. Everyone is welcome - bring a friend! |

Embodied-Anatomy Workshop
October 17th & 18th
Choi TKD Seminar Series and Sa Bum Nim Julio Diaz present – the Embodied-Anatomy Approach to Martial Arts.
This weekend workshop is for all styles and levels of Martial Artist, applying the principles and practices of Embodied-Anatomy and Yoga. This workshop will focus on awareness of and alignment through the skeletal system to find your effortless inner movement.
Embodied-Anatomy is a movement therapy based on cellular awareness and movement initiation. This workshop will use Embodied-Anatomy techniques to develop inner awareness and Yoga postures to embody this awareness. Participants will then apply this knowledge to their own martial Arts techniques.
